Chloe Bourdain is the police dispatcher and town gossip. We first meet her in Love Ever After.

Chloe’s great grandfather, the former fire chief and was a real-life hero that died saving several children from a fire in the school. It was in his honor that they renamed the street he lived on after him.

Grace Duncan

Phoebe Bush

We briefly learn who Phoebe Bush is, during Hannah Page’s return to Big Oak, Texas in Love Ever After. Phoebe Bush runs Sunny Side Up, the local bed and breakfast. She took over for her grandmother Mrs. Bush when her grandmother was ready to retire.

Jason Rainey

Jason Rainey was a badass former marine, who grew up in Houston, Texas. In college, he met his wife, fell madly in love, and moved back to her hometown to make her happy. It was important to her to raise their future children in the safety of a small town. While she was pregnant with their first child, there was a car accident and she died. He ended up liking small-town life far more than he thought he would and ended up staying instead of moving back to the big city.

When they first arrived at the area, he got hired on as a junior deputy with the sheriff’s department and over the years worked his way up until one day when the county sheriff retired, he recommended Jason as a replacement, and with his support, Jason ran and won the election.

The Sherriff’s department has jurisdiction over the entire county, but because Big Oak is so well run they never have a reason to actually come into town and deal with any issues unless they are called upon and specifically asked to help. But Jason recently bought a large piece of land south of town where he had been building his dream home.

We first meet Jason Rainey in Love Ever After when he meets his love interest, Wendy, a geologist who works with Hannah Page.

Hannah Page was born and raised in Big Oak. However her senior year her father got a new job and she had to move away. Her father was Big Oak’s town manager.

Hannah wouldn’t return to Big Oak for another ten years, this time to face the one who got away, Ryan Clayton – who she had a secret crush on in high school.

We don’t meet Hannah Page until the release of Love Ever After where we learn about her love story with Ryan Clayton.

Ryan Clayton

Ryan ‘Ram-rod’ Clayton is the Big Oak police chief. He was born in Big Oak and lived there his whole life. His father was police chief and when he retired Ryan took over.

We were briefly introduced to Ryan Clayton in Crescent Moon, but we got to know more about his story and his love interest Hannah Page in Love Ever After.

Grayson Loukas

Grayson Loukas is the CEO of Midnight Sun, who purchased CMI (Crescent Moon) from Derek Loukas after Derek’s father Asher Loukas died.

Midnight Sun is an international company but its headquarters are based in Houston, Texas.

Winter Russell

Winter Russell was first introduced to the Big Oak, Texas series in the book Crescent Moon. Winter was born and raised in Big Oak, Texas until she’s away at 16 to live with her grandmother.

Winter returns to Big Oak when his mother dies, six years later.

She has blond hair and grey eyes like her grandmother.

Her father is Brandon Russell and her mother is Nancy (Natasha). Her brother is Wyatt Russell and her best friend from childhood is Brianna Hayes.
